It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Toher of Dolgeville, New York, born in Little Falls, New York, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Toher and Frieda Toher (Friedrich); his parents-in-law, Gordon and Beth Ellis; and his brother-in-law Terry Ellis.
He is survived by: his pets, Chipper and Chooie; his uncle Terry; his friends, Holly and Dan; his granddaughter Pops; his wife Cheryl L. Toher; his daughters, Kim Pierce (Jim Pierce) of Dolgeville, NY and Kelly Baird (Bruce) of Dolgeville, NY; his grandchildren, Katie Pierce of Potsdam, NY, Jamie Pierce of Dolgeville, NY, Kelcie Baird of Dolgeville, NY, Jacob Baird of Dolgeville, NY and Joshua Baird of Dolgeville, NY; his sister Donna Amadon of Wasilla, AK; his siblings-in-law, Kevin, Linda Ellis of Marietta, GA and Marianne Ellis of Scituate, RI; and also Skittles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
