With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace M. K. Barnes (Dolgeville, New York), born in Little Falls, New York, who passed away on February 21, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward VanGorder and Grace VanGorder (Grief); her daughter Carol Ann Johnson; her sister Dorothy Gifford; and her close friend Mary Evans.
She is survived by: her spouse David Wilson Barnes, Sr.; and her children, Patricia Barnes (Earl), David Barnes, Jr. (Brenda Henson) of Salisbury, NY, Linda Hawkins of Dolgeville, NY, Debra Davis (Dennis Johnson) of Dolgeville, NY, Robin Spanfelner (John) of Salisbury, NY and Shawn Barnes (Janet) of Salisbury, NY. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
