It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George I. Nelson (Dolgeville, New York), who passed away on June 30, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Irving Nelson; and his sisters, Evelyn Gage, Ellen Jodway and Lena Dager. He is survived by: his parent Vera Nelson (Johnson); his children, Marilyn Williams (Greg) of Dolgeville, NY, Georgia Ainsworth of Ilion, NY, Jill Guile of Salisbury, NY and Michele Randall (Brian) of Dolgeville, NY; his stepsons, Tony Grosse (Myrna) of Little Falls, NY, Jamie Grosse of Ilion, NY and Michael Grosse (Wendy) of Ilion, NY; and his brothers-in-law, Howard Jodway of Oppenheim, NY, Richard Congdon of Salisbury Center, NY and Lee Congdon of Richfield Springs, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
