She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Messina and Margaret Messina (Volino); and her brother Michael Messina. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph DeFeo; her sons, Christopher (Jan) of Saint James and Andrew (Amanda) of Cortlandt Manor; her grandchildren, Theodore and Olivia; and her sister Alicia Messina. She is also survived by many cousins and life-long friends.
