It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Corveddu Ballas (Dobbs Ferry, New York), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmela DiGraci and Quirico Corveddu; and her siblings, Frank Abato, Anthony Corveddu, Joseph Corveddu and Mary Rutiglan Ricci.

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen L. Ballas and Louis J. Ballas Jr. (Guylaine Goudreau); her grandchildren, Dana Ballas Fitzgerald (Louis Fitzgerald), Liana Ballas Lynch (Thomas Lynch) and Louis J. Ballas III; her great grandchild Benjamin Blaise Lynch; her brother Vincent Corveddu of Tarrytown; and her sisters-in-law, Florence Corveddu, Mary Middleton, Francis Murray and Marie Ballas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
