“Dear Michael and family. We just read the obituary notice of your dear wife Joyce. Do you remember us? We rented the first floor apartment of your home on Palisades avenue 1964. You and Joyce were so good to us and invited us for dinner every Sunday. You always made roast beef. We still live in Connecticut. We are sorry for your loss. Lovingly, Judi and Bob Dennehy. We had one daughter Anne then who was Ellen’s age. She lives in San Francisco now and we have another daughter and son.”
