She was predeceased by: her husband Otto H. A. Soyk Jr.; her parents, John C. Jannen and Melitta; and her sisters, Lillie Jannen and Elsie Bohn (Ronald).

She is survived by: her children, Arthur (Donna), Thomas (Elizabeth), Helene Spangenberg (Paul) and Heidi Lynk (Thomas). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many other loving, relatives.
