She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Westerman and Jennie Westerman; her brother David Westerman; and her husband Edward Gothelf. She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Chasin (Jeff); her siblings, Tobey Shimberg (Steve) and Harvey Westerman (Henrietta); her sister-in-law Bella Westerman; and her grandchildren, Jack, Michael, Ilana and Maya. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the I. J. Morris (21 E Deer Park Rd, Dix Hills, NY 11746).
