He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Claire; his sons, Mark Spencer (Cathy), Christopher Spencer (Mary) and Douglas Spencer (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Patrick, Cailyn, Grace, Kiersten (Cory), Brianna, Brendan and Tommy; his great grandchild Declyn; and his siblings, Sue McElroy and Roger Spencer (Linda).
