He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his son Richard Flath; and his grandson Richard Flath. He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Flath and Mildred Allen Flath; his sons, Wendell "Wayne" Flath Jr (Becky) of LaFargeville, Dexter Flath of LaFargeville and Steven Michael Flath of LaFargeville; and his daughters-in-law, Diane Flath and JoAnne Flath.
