He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Martinchek and Veronica Basista Martinchek; his wife Martha Preputnik; his children, Thomas G., Mark (Sally), David A., John M. and Karen Martinchek of Joppa, MD; his grandchildren, Kyle Martinchek of Cincinnati, OH and Lauren Martinchek; and his siblings, Martha Palermo of Woodbridge, VA, Emmy Facenda, Helen Mai, Alex, John, Mary Stugrin and Pauline Harlin.
