He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Covey and Eunice Chamberlain Covey; his spouse Jannelle "Cookie" Furgison; his children, William Covey (Julie) of Dexter, Altra Strickland (Joseph) of Nanjing, Eric Covey of Dexter and Josh Covey (Devon) of Dexter; and his grandchildren, Maria, Wesley, Xavier and Alexander.
