She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Cannan and Mary Cannan (Valler); her husband Robert J. Genter of Peter's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Stephen Cannan and Betty Jeanne Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Genter Mills (Kevin) of Dundee, NY, Gretchen Mayer (Chris) of Prosper, TX, Robert GenterJr (Kelly) and Brian Genter (Jennifer) of Ionia, NY; her grandsons, Elliot Mayer, Joshua Genter (Brooke) and Dillon Genter; her great grandchildren, Amelia Elizabeth and Paislee Alice Genter; and her siblings, Kenneth Cannan, Jr., Michael Cannan, Martin Cannan and Maureen VerSchneider. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
