With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Montrois (Dexter, New York), born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Montrois and Mary Mahar Montrois; and his adoptive daughter Karen L. Montrois. He is survived by: his wife Lise T. Burke; his brother Edward of Watertown, NY; his children, David Montrois (Jayne) of Tallahassee, Sherry Montrois Lashway and Christine Powers (John) of Clayton, NY.; and also Mary McPhilmy. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
