He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood F. and Lena Holder Sr. (Sanford); his children, Diane Holder, Edward Holder Jr. and Danny Holder; and his siblings, Edward Holder and Betty LaHair.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline R. Holder; his children, Linda L. Arik (Charles), Judy E. Pitkin (Tammy) and David A. Lillie; his daughter-in-law JoAnne Holder of Salisbury, NC; his grandchildren, Autumn Arik (Gary Spradlin), Charles Arik (Joshua), Dan Holder (Cassandra) and David Lillie (Kyrstin); and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Elizabeth and Ryleigh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
