She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Archie Ruttan and Agnes Seaver Ruttan of Dexter; her husband Frank "Matt" Pierce of Dolgeville; her sons, James Pierce (Penny) of Adams and John "Jack" Pierce of Summit Village, Watertown; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Julie, Andrew and Benjamin; her great grandchildren, Kristina, Connor, Samantha, Jessica, Rebecca and Kinsley; her great great grandchildren, Hayden and Ryan; her children, Frank M. Pierce, Jr. and Sheila M. Pierce Patterson (Montando); and her sister Jeanne E. Pitkin (Ruttan).
