He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Henry Stage and Mildred Curtis Stage; his sisters, Louise Malchow (Leonard), Marie Crandall (Sheldon) and Char Wood (Hugh); his son Timothy Stage; and his son-in-law Thomas Josephson.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Cheney Stage; his siblings, Paul Stage and Martha Crandall; his children, Paul Stage (Rose) of Maple Springs and Yvonne Josephson (Bonnie) of High Point; his daughter-in-law Heidi Stage of Homer; his daughter Cindy Lawson (Jim) of Jamestown; his granddaughter Kristen Stage-Geleil (Nader); his great grandchildren, Mariam and Joud; his grandson Paul Stage (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Grace and Adelyn; his grandsons, Matthew Stage and Jeremy Woltz (Amanda); his great grandchild Venice; his grandchildren, Courtney Stage and Asa Stage (Haley); his great grandchildren, Freya, Esmay and Ellie; his grandchild Ebtehal Sudan (Sammie); his great grandchildren, Besma, Nawal and Jamal; and his granddaughter Susan Suwan.
