With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sterling Hogan Jr. of Dewitt, New York, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Hogan; his parents, Sterling Hogan and Jimmie Lee Hogan; and his sisters, Martha Hogan, Rebecca Hogan and Joanna Cook.

He is survived by: his siblings, Benjamin Hogan (Ida), Henry Hogan and Carolyn Grimsley; and his children, David Hogan (Debbie), Arthur Hogan, Billy Hogan (Yolanda), Sterling Hogan, III (Nicole) and Dorothea Hogan. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews.
