He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthias Fennell and Catherine Fennell (Shields); his wife Susan Fennell (Wisnoski); his brother Matthias "Matt"; his sister-in-law Ann Fennell; and his sister Kathleen "Sis" Fennell.
He is survived by: his son J. Peter Fennell, Jr. of Dewitt, NY; his granddaughter Jacqueline Lad (Justin); his children, Brian of Syracuse, NY., Elizabeth Everett (Conor) of Elmira, Charles (Victoria) of Asbury Park, NJ, Susan Anne, Meredith (Chris Coghlan) of Elmira and Catherine of Queens, NY; his grandson Kevin (Michelle) of Elmira; and his great grandchild Colin.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (604 Park Pl, Elmira, NY 14901).
