He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane Newell; his children, Erin Mackert (Mark), Daniel (Elizabeth) and Robert (Emily); and his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Annie, John, Amelia, Caraline, James and Finbar.
