He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Franklin Cooper and Evelyn Dotson Cooper; his sons, David H. Cooper, Jr. (Eileen), E. Syracuse and Robert Cooper (Rose) of Dewitt; and his grandchildren, David H. Cooper, III and Amelia Cooper. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
