He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley E. Pfalzgraf (Vail); his stepdaughter Susan Mathewson (Douglas); and his brothers, Norbert "Chuck" and Paul Pfalzgraf. He is survived by: his stepsons, Raymond Peterson (late JoAnn) and John Peterson (Norma); his nephews, Charles A. "Chaz" and Robert A. Pfalzgraf; and his niece Laura A. Pfalzgraf Pankiewicz. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Church of Evans.
