Edel S. Vail Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edel S. Vail of Derby, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Edel leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Edel may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank C. Vail Jr. Loving; her children, Frank Vail III (Colleen), Eric Vail, Karen Pszonak (William), Gary Vail (Linda), Michael Vail (Carin) and Todd Vail (Jessica); and her siblings, Gerd Newman and Fred Solberg (Linda). She was also cherished by 18 grand children and 11 great grandchildren.
