She was predeceased by: her brother Dennis Biela. She is survived by: her husband Clement J. Zgoda; her son Joseph Zgoda (Kristen); her grandchild Skylar Zgoda; and her sisters, Mary Ann Karalus (Joseph) and Rosemarie LoGrasso (Vincent). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo or any animal charity in Catherine's memory.
