Catherine J. Dudek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine J. Dudek of Derby, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Catherine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Catherine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gister and Jacqueline Gister. She is survived by: her husband David T. Dudek; her children, Thomas Dudek (Brittany Dorolek) and David L. Dudek (Brittanie Smerka); her grandchildren, Cayden, Adeline and Ashton; and her brothers, John (Beverly), Christopher and Dennis Gister. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
