With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucien Raymond Joel of Deposit, New York, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Joel and Alida Joel (Desmet); his son Dan Joel; his granddaughter Meaghan Joel; his sister Cecile Faes (Joel); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Faes and Jean Van Becelaere.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Joel; his daughter Diane Kradel (Joel); his daughter-in-law Ronda Joel (Elom); his grandchildren, William Kradel, Joseph Kradel and Heather Kazmark (Kradel); his stepgranddaughter Naida Barnes; and his sister Mariette Joel (Van Becelaere). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
