Johnston (Backus); his children, Daryl (Debbie Johnston), Brian (Cindy Johnston), Scott (Brittany Johnston), Timothy (Ann Schmitz), Thomas (Lynette Schmitz), Melissa Schmitz, William (Jennifer Schmitz), Tina Owens and Christine (Tracy Martin); his grandchildren, Kenny, Justin Johnston, Angela, Michael Mercado, Jennifer, Mitchell Johnston, Lilly, Lorissa, Emily, Bryson Johnston, Jeffrey, Shane, Nikki, Devin, Korie, Cody Schmitz, Mark Gallo, Tyson, Melissa and McKenzie Martin; and his great grandchildren, Kolton, Ava, Jackson, Jameson, Jasper Johnston, Qa'Dir, John Mercado, Aubrey, Zander, Kinsley Mercado, Kyleigh, Shawn, Leah, Layne Schmitz, Teigan Space, Autumn and Chloe Martin.
