He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Jean and Sherwood Root. He is survived by: his brothers, Ken (Luann), Dave (Denise Slater) and Greg Root (Jessie); his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Sarah, Miles, Hudson, Caity, Jessica and Mackenzie; his aunt Diane Krol (George); and his pet Max.
