She was predeceased by: her spouse John M. Molvarec; and her child Paul. She is survived by: her children, Michael, Kathy Nikischer (Michael), Terry Kubera (Paul) and Mary Hodenius (Gary); and her siblings, Marie, Helen, Frank, Ann and Irene. She is also survived by other brothers and sisters; survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's name to a charity of your choice.
