It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy A. Kurek of Depew, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josephine Krakowiak and Leonard Krakowiak; her spouse Francis Kurek; her children, Lindsay Kurek (Chris Clayton) and Eric Kurek; her granddaughters, Josephine and Lillian Clayton; her sister Joan Krakowiak; and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Kurek (Arja), Elizabeth Hayden (William), Michael Kurek (Dolores), Mary Betker (Richard), Anthony (Joanne) and Paul Kurek (Laura). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home (2400 William St, Cheektowaga, NY 14206). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Church (130 Como Park Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14227). A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (6200 Broadway, Lancaster, NY 14086).
