He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dawn; his children, Colleen, Jeana and Michael Hehir (Maria); his grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Zachery and Nathan; his parents, James Hehir and Kathleen Hehir; and his sisters, Suzanne Hehir and Patricia Hicks (Geoffrey). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pacer Funeral Home, Inc. (2275 George Urban Blvd, Depew, NY 14043).
