She was predeceased by: her husband Lester J. Schnettler; her siblings, Edward (late Jane), Andrew (late Bernice), Adele (late Raymond), Herbert (late Helen) and Franklin Hoerner (late Elaine); and her close friend Leo F. Kowalczyk.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Kwiatkowski, Catherine Markiewicz (Robert) and John Schnettler (late Deborah). She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel (4125 Union Rd, Buffalo, NY 14225).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel Preservation Fund, honoring Marion's spirit of giving.
