He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Helminiak and Frank Helminiak; his aunt Florence; his uncle Stanley Kubicz; and his cousin David Kubicz.

He is survived by: his extended family, James Tallman (Kathleen), Margaret Bauch (Joseph), Michelle Christofaro (David), Michael Bauch (Miranda), Kyle Bauch, Alexis Orzech and Ryan Orzech.
