He is survived by: his wife Patricia Goszewski; his children, Cynthia Grote (David) and Robert Goszewski (Kristine); his grandchildren, Matthew (Alyson), Mark Goszewski and Stephanie Grote; and his brother Louis Goszewski (Franny).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joseph's name to Roswell Park.
