He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie (Kress); and his siblings, Anthony, Frances (Portera), Antonette (Spencer), Rose (Laucello) and Susan (Gautille).
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Smith (Len), Laurie Walsh (Bob) and John Ambrose (Candice); his grandchildren, Dorene Major (Tim), Allison Gullion (Chris), Elise Walsh and Jacquelyn Ambrose; his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Miles and Lucy; and his sister Ann Marie Notery.
