He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alexander Trainer, Celia Dyll, Verna Dyll, Adam Trainer and Rose Ziegler; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Sroka (Dianna) and Robert Stroka (Joan).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Trainer; his children, Kathleen Hagner, James Trainer (Sandra), Jeffrey Trainer and Susan Trainer; his grandchildren, Nicole McNaughton-Mescall, Sean McNaughton, Christine Hatley, Richard Hagner, Iosefa Trainer, Jessica Trainer, Kea Trainer, Emma Trainer, Alex Trainer, Clara Trainer, Grace Meyers and John Meyers; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Stroka (Ruth), Frances Surowiec (Edward) and Alexander Stroka (Joanne). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. (4929 Broadway, Depew, NY 14043). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Pompeii Church (158 Laverack Ave, Lancaster, NY 14086).
