As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Voelker; his sons, James Voelker and Michael Voelker; his brother John Voelker (Linda); his sister-in-law Deborah Bars (Stephen); his nieces, Stephanie Diocedo (Anthony), Rachel Nelson (Anthony) and Megan Bars; and his nephew John Voelker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James's memory to the SPCA Serving Erie County.
