He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Angela Savage; his children, Kristen Savage, Julia Reeb (Jim), Daniel Napier (Kristan) and Candice Boody; his grandchildren, Michael, Kali, Alex, Jiovanni, Sydney, Cole and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Xavier, Kami'ya and Mylani; his siblings, Mary Burlew (late Bill), Donald Savage (Carol) and Robert Savage (Kathi); and his parents-in-law, Frank and Christine Schoner. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. (4929 Broadway, Depew, NY 14043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Cemetery (180 French Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224).
