He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rose Mary; his children, Stephan (Daniel Slaughter), Thomas (Kim), Michael, Christopher and David; his parents, Eleanor and Frank J.; his siblings, Paul Blaski (Mindy), Yvonne Athanasaw (Danny), Mark, Bruce (Christine) and Christopher (Lorraine); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Pasternak (late Joseph). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
