He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephania Penkalski and Edward Penkalski; his wife Roberta "Bird" Penkalski; and his son Edward Penkalski. He is survived by: his children, Cyndee Stelmach (Peter) and Eileen Penkalski (Kathy Longton); his grandchildren, Theresa Maciejewski (Dennis), Edward Penkalski IV (Marrissa), Thomas Penkalski (Heather), Nicole Stelmach (Dan Foss) and Peter Stelmach (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Jacob, Chloe, Dakota, Sophia, Alet, MiKayla, Edward V and Bella; and his sister Estelle Bykowicz (late Joseph). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
