We bid farewell to Colette G. Romano (Depew, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 31, 2025 at the age of 74. Colette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Griffin, Sr. and Josephine Griffin (Kane); and her brothers, Dr. Michael J. Griffin of State College and Timothy J. Griffin of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.. She is survived by: her husband Anthony; her children, Katelyn L. Batton (William) of Indian Land and Nicholas A. Romano; her grandchildren, Sienna Margaret Batton and Maddox John Batton of Indian Land; her siblings, Joellen A. Kule (David) of Laporte, Pennsylvania and William E. Griffin, Jr. of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia A. Griffin of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Laura P. Griffin of State College, Pennsylvania and Rita A. Romano of Manlius.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043). A Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (104 Academy St, Manlius, NY 13104). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (4100 E Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13214).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at http://www.alz.org. Each year, Colette's family participates in The Walk to End Alzheimer's and memorial donations in her honor are welcomed to their team, "The Griffin Gang.".
