We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 94, Bernard J. Habermehl (Depew, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bernard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bernard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Nicoletta; his daughters, Karen Pochylski (James), Diane Payton (Carlton) and Lynne Slazak (Marc); and his grandchildren, Karen Wright, Laura Twarog (Joseph), Andrea Maloy (Clay), Michael Payton (Amanda), Marc Slazak (Liz), Eric Pochylski and Daniel Slazak (Jolene). He is also survived by brothers and sisters, survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pacer Funeral Home, Inc. (2275 George Urban Blvd, Depew, NY 14043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Martyrs Church (180 George Urban Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14225).
