He is survived by: his wife Karen Birdsey; his brother Jon Birdsey (Jo); his children, Thomas Birdsey (Renae) and Scotia Birdsey; his stepchildren, Ryan Looney, David Looney (Kat) and Kairos Looney (Montie Steele); and his caregiver DaMeishe Rosco Wilson.
