He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Collins [Dottie]; and his siblings, Watson, Jennie DeMarco, Helen DeMarco, Albert, William, Pauline Gries and Wanda McLaughlin.

He is survived by: his brother Carl Szembrot. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
