She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Riescher and Mary Riescher (Salvino). She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Brookins; her children, Jonathan Brookins (Danyelle) and Elizabeth Danz (Jason); her brother Thomas Riescher (Judith); and her furry pal Charly. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Marlene's memory can be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands.
