She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Smith (Miller) and Marshall Smith; and her husband John Hughes III (Jack). She is survived by: her children, Douglas Yeomans (Nellie), Laura McDonald (Elmer), Ronald Hughes (Dawn) and Timothy Hughes (Val); and her brother Clarence Smith (Carol). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a niece and nephew.
