With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Thomas Melcher of Delmar, New York, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Melcher and Rosemary Melcher. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Melcher; his children, Emily Ingram (James Ingram), Matthew Melcher (Lisa Ahlemeyer), Mark Melcher (Natalia Konyushenko) and Alison Melcher (Christopher Wright); his grandchildren, Quinn Melcher, Lucy Ingram, Alexis Melcher, Oliver Melcher and Zoe Melcher; and his siblings, John Melcher (Maritza Melcher) and Mary Anne Baumgart (Brad Baumgart). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews.
