It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Bence Hyde (Delmar, New York), who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joan Bence may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her sister Jan; and her brother-in-law Gene Febus. She is survived by: her children, Julie Pooler (Rick) and Drew Hyde (Mary); and her grandsons, Kyle Pooler (Whitney), Alex Pooler, Christopher Hyde and Gregory Hyde. She is also survived by family, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home (403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Delmar Presbyterian Church (585 Delaware Ave, Delmar, NY 12054).
