The memory of James B. Hogan Jr. (Delmar, New York), who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hogan and Elizabeth Hogan (Kolb); his wife Patricia Lourdes Hogan; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Hogan Modras. He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Anna) of Raleigh, NC, Colleen Kelty (Robert) of Guilderland, Megan of Glenmont, Cara Bashant (John) of Delmar and Matthew (Shannon) of Bedford, NH.; his grandchildren, Bobby, Patrick, Katie, Seamus Kelty, Madeline, Sadie, Brendan, Lila, Violet Bashant, Brodie Hogan, Liam and Finn Hogan; and his friends, Sally Gray and Chick Granito.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home (403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (35 Adams Pl, Delmar, NY 12054). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
