James A. Economides Obituary
The memory of James A. Economides of Delmar, New York, born in Johnson City, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Greek; his wife Kathleen Daly Economides; his children, Colleen Scott (Bill) and Mark (Bridget); his grandson Gavin Scott; his brother Dino Christopher (Rita); his cousins, Irene Malagari (Scott Anderson) of Andrea Manyon, MD and Joan Manouse Maloney; his siblings-in-law, Dan Daly (Cheryl), Gerald Daly and Marilyn Daly (Nigel Simmons); and his cousin Peter Manouse. He was also cherished by Siblings.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home (403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054). A prayer was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church (440 Whitehall Rd, Albany, NY 12208). A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the St. Agnes Cemetery Cemetery.
